Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our policy on loan cancellations and refund processing

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms related to loan application cancellation and refund processing for services facilitated through CREDOFINA FINTECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("Credofina"). As a loan marketplace and DSA, Credofina facilitates loans through our lending partners. Refund terms are governed by the policies of the respective lending partner.

1. Loan Cancellation Before Disbursal

If you wish to cancel your loan application before the loan amount has been disbursed:

  • You may cancel your loan application at any stage before disbursal by contacting us or the lending partner directly.
  • Upon cancellation, your application will be withdrawn and no loan agreement will be executed.
  • No interest or EMI obligations will arise for cancelled applications.
  • Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing via email to support@credofina.com or through the lending partner's customer support channel.

2. Processing Fee Refunds

Refund of processing fees depends on the stage of your application and the lending partner's policy:

  • Before Approval: If your loan application is rejected by the lending partner, the processing fee (if already collected) may be refunded as per the lender's refund policy.
  • After Approval, Before Disbursal: If you cancel after approval but before disbursal, the processing fee may or may not be refundable depending on the lending partner's terms.
  • After Disbursal: Processing fees are generally non-refundable once the loan has been disbursed.

Credofina does not charge any processing fee directly. All fees are charged by the lending partner as disclosed in the loan agreement.

3. Post-Disbursal

Once a loan has been disbursed to your account:

  • The loan amount is not refundable. The loan agreement between you and the lending partner becomes binding.
  • You are obligated to repay the loan as per the agreed EMI schedule.
  • If you wish to close the loan early, you may opt for prepayment or foreclosure as outlined in our Payment Policy. Applicable charges may apply.
  • Any excess amount debited or payment made in error will be refunded by the lending partner after verification.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

For eligible refunds, the following timelines apply:

  • Refund requests are processed within 7 to 15 business days from the date of approval of the refund by the lending partner.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source (bank account, card, or UPI) used for the transaction.
  • In case of delays, please contact us or the lending partner for a status update.
  • Bank processing times may vary and are beyond Credofina's control.

5. Insurance Premium Refunds

If any insurance product was bundled with your loan, the insurance premium refund (if applicable) will be governed by the insurance provider's cancellation policy. Please refer to the insurance terms provided at the time of purchase.
